you somehow twist this in your mind to = he wants people to DIE...

What type of drugs are you on?
BBM~~ I think you are confusing ACA with "Universal Healthcare"..Since Universal HC was unable to get agreed to by congress back in 2009..They went to the type of offerings Mit and his governing Body to Mass. So ACA was crafted by that model....that it allowed Capitalism to remain..free market..set up the various new rules and regulations for Insurance Company's to follow...THEN all hell broke loose...GOP'er have been complaining and trying to STOP it ever since....That's the storyline since 2009/10..Defund/block passage/Shut down Government...Name calling their POTUS and so on....

Also..Ted Cruz was never on the Govt. offered Cadillac Plan...Why??? because his wife had the Health Insurance Plan..and NOT Ted...NOW he has to go out and get insurance himself for his family (Wife left job on LOA = NO HC plan active)..( Wife, 2 beautiful girls and himself)...

The point being made here is....He could go without...just like millions are suffering and NOT because they don't want it..BUT because their State put up so many BLOCKS to access.....(Not setting up State Sites). Ii won't even go into Medicare expansion problems in those same state!!!

Basically Ted Cruz preaches the evils of ACA..but has no misgivings in signing up for it He knows full well..with new rules in place..and if one/more of his family member's required Healthcare...HE THEN CANNOT signup and retroactivily be covered...I think he see's for the flock he is preaching to..it comes down "Survival of the Fittest" mentality

ZERO..

This is an example of EXACTLY what took place.. Millions lost policies, and then resigned back up, and your side counts it as a newly insured "positive".

Meanwhile 30 million are still going without insurance despite demands that ACA get passed to insure every american.
He is switching from an ACA compliant plan subsidized by Goldman Sachs to an ACA compliant plan subsidized by his employer, the Federal Government. Either way, he is likely paying about 15% of the cost of the premium.

Still looks bad for Rafael any way you slice it.

Especially since 25% (or so) of those in Texas don't any health insurance at all.

But him do. As fast as he could get there.

Guess ER isn't good enough for him?

Hilarious.
If he had taken COBRA, it would have cost him about $20K out of pocket.

Instead, he took advantage of a substantially subsidized benefit offered by his employer, the federal government.

He may be a tad nuts but he's not stupid.

Liberal math is very "fluid".

Yep. More than a million Texans have no health insurance, but Cruz supports Texas not expanding Medicaid to cover many of them. But he himself will not risk going without health insurance.

What a guy.

Members of Congress have to enroll in an Obamacare plan. It is part of the ACA law. They must choose from one of the applicable ACA plans. That is their insurance plan. The Feds pay for 75% of the cost. Cruz might have had a better plan from his wife's employer as private sector pays an average about 80% of cost and are often more generous as well.

Come April, the ACA is 5 years old. Where is this " something better"?

What happens between repeal and something better?

Do all insurers suddenly fall back to prior plans with annual/lifetime caps, pre-existing condition discrimination, and the high deductible- low cap junk plans?

Given it's been 5 long years, how much longer till something better?

Many things could be done to lower premiums and most would require Congress to bite the hands that feed them.

You're wasting your effort. Obamacare supporters suck at math. My dog is better at math than Obamacare supporters. They can't add or subtract and their brain blocks out numerals when they're reading anything which contains them. They're simply incapable of understanding the concepts. Some sort of disorder, IMO.
