You want reform. You can't lobby your former job ever. Or any part of government if you've held government office. That will cut the corruption.

I'd be on board for both. No lobbying means no (or at least fewer) knee jerk reaction laws or corrupt laws that wouldn't exist without someone strong arming them. And term limits would mean some fresh ideas in congress. Both would likely benefit, or at least produce potential.

You're half right. Giving politicians all that influence (read power) in the first place is the real problem.

the best lobbyist are the former senators and congress people that retired to take the position. Permanent bad to start with. Term limits, na if we get a good one then why kick them out?

We should've kept adding seats to the house to keep one person in there for every 10,000 people in the US. That way you could know your politician and it would concentrate the power less.
