Exactly what part of -- "we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues" do you not understand?
Obama specifically calls out FOX News and he is not blaming them for "opinion", he is blaming them for You-Tubes they play or Guests they have on their shows - particularly those guests that say things that TeamObama doesn't like. He doesn't propose to "shut down" the Media, he says it must "change how they report" ....... i.e. Only report what he approves of. That is Government Control of Information.
The day that happens we are DONE as a Nation.
Feel free to post any FOX News report that "portrays American citizens as leeches" -- you won't find it, because he made it up. What he doesn't like are the reports of Abuse in the Welfare system and the reports of the Trillions of dollars spent on welfare with only a huge increase in the number of people who are on welfare. Each and every one of us should be concerned about that.

Yeah, naturally he's ripping FOX, but it's an ominous, even threatening warning coming from the President. He's had no problem siccing the DOJ on the liberal MSM, I can just imagine what he'd like to do to FOX.

Let's say President Cruz decides he's had it with CNN and MSNBC and the NYT and puts the resources of the DOJ to work to close them down. Obama already created the precedent, so it's okay, right?

Obama only had 95% of the media support him so he wants to eliminate the 5% (Fox)...I was afraid when I saw how all objectivity , outside of Fox, was thrown out the window when the media supported him in almost a religious type of fervor. Now that he's trying to eliminate the 5% that didn't support him....now that is scary.
Wrong in your assumption. I am not saying the government decides what is news, just that news source report the news facts with no slant to them, everything else gets covered by the Caution I mentioned. As it is today just about everything being reported would be required to have the Caution included, Not Good. Just give us the facts I can draw my own conclusions or opinions for my self, and for the lazy there would still be the slanted news to ingest, just pick your poison.
