Funny thing is that a country that is so small that if you did not know they were on that map you would not be able to find them can be the root of some many issues for so many of the other countries. Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill, an expensive mole hill at that.

Unfortunately the U.S. continues to create problems for itself by dithering (Often disastrously) around in conflicts in that land which are unimportant to the U.S., wasting billions and getting Americans killed as a consequence of the unnecessary intervention.
Not everything in this life is dependent on the US. Large swathes of Europe including the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, France, Spain and Italy don't recognize the Palestinian state. Australia doesn't either.
I am a converted Catholic. The Catholics really do many good things for people and "walk the walk". Catholic Charities helps many poor people not only around the world, but in the US.
Meh...I was born into it, and don't buy what you're saying.

They're entitled to it as long as they can hold and defend it.

In the UN the U.S. is due to the veto power the U.S. has on the UN Security council, since the U.S. (Along with Russia, China, UK, and France) are part of the Big Five. Even if all the other 14 members are in favor, if one of the big five vetoes the resolution it will not pass the Security Council. Although if the U.S. abstains, it is unknown what France, and the UK would do.

Yea Australia was one of the countries that voted against the UNSC resolution this past December with the US. The UK, along with Lithuania, Nigeria, Korea and Rwanda abstained from the vote
But they just didn't abide by the agreement to cease terrorist activities.
