No, and you forgot to mention that he served for time as quartermaster, a position that today is regarded as a military position.

That's anew one on me. Do you happen to have a cite for that?

It's also not specified in the Constitution that one has to have served in the military to be POTUS. Seems the founding fathers didn't have an issue with a person lacking military experience being qualified, and you do, why is that? Some people are rejected for service for medical reasons. Should they not be eligible to run for President even though they meet the criteria set forth in the Constitution?
Do you also feel that a person running for Congress should have served in the military? After all, they do vote on matters concerning the armed services.

Shouldn't you be directing this at me? I am the one who thinks that POTUS should have military experience and I believe that you are misreading that member's post.

If it applies to you, yes. That member quoted me, so I was replying. I did not misread the post.

All that post said was that the military is in civilian control. How does that equate to "POTUS should have military experience"?

Yes.

Bush graduated from Harvard and liberals constantly called him stupid and incompetent, what makes you think graduating from Harvard makes this hopelessly corrupt candidate qualified? Shouldn't the POTUS have at least a shred of integrity? Hillary clearly doesn't.
