Yes, she is. The offer is both creepy and humorous.

It's creepy that he's noticed her since she was 10.... I mean that would immediately make me feel some type of way if I was Obama. And yes Malia is very attractive. I wonder if she's even allowed to date.

Hilarious thread.

Obama is a handsome man so it's no shock if his offspring grow up to be attractive.

Calculated in money terms - for a Kenyan - that herd is a huge offer.

I had to laugh a bit mind you.

What a silly post!

Cattle are a store of wealth for many cultures. He is making an offer that in his culture is tremendously generous - albeit ultimately pointless. To assume this reflects slavery is cultural arrogance on your part.

Notice that in that culture he isn't asking Malia, he is asking Barack. Obviously the girls opinions don't matter.

I have never had a problem being culturally arrogant. I like our culture. In some situations and on some subjects I like being arrogant.

Controlling the life of someone else, relative or not, that includes arranging their marriage, so long as a bride price is paid IS slavery at its core. The idea that a parent owns their children is also slavery.

You guys really think he's serious? It's just a stunt to get famous.

In China, there was an ugly girl who said she would "consider Obama" too. She got famous and made a lot of money by taking interviews and shows.

Wrong. BO is very ignorant of cultures. He only experienced Indonesia (made up of ~17,000 islands, Muslim step father and schooling) and Hawaii (very shallow US background) and his actions show it. He has no background of any substance and shows he is definitely in over his head; i.e., 100% not qualified for POTUS!
