It's simple really. He went to the church because he knew people would be unarmed. Yes there is something wrong with anyone who kills. Why wouldn't he go to a local bar? Because there is an increased chance people are armed. Going to a place where people can't defend themselves also makes him a coward.
Churches are not gun-free areas. A lot of church goers carry concelead, and many churches have members who are cops. Our church has heavy police presence although it is in a good area. The cops are members of the church.

I didn't say they were gun free. I did say it was less likely.

Then they are lawbreakers in South Carolina. Churches are gun free zones in that state!

Yep, three blocks from there is a high crime housing project full of the people he seemed to complain about. Why didn't he walk into that area and pull a gun?

Your dishonest broadbrushed rubbish does nothing but further divide. How is your rhetoric any better than that of those you complain about?
You are making the same argument Bill O'reilly made and it is flawed just the same.
There is a difference between rhetoric and truth, so lets stop being BP about it.
Like it or not, you dont here liberals running around talking about the oppressed white man, so while all white conservative males may not say these things, the group that does say it are white conservative males.

Once again, people not reading the post I responded to.
It was divisive, irresponsible and no better than the rhetoric I hear from others who have extreme disdain for specific groups of people. Their post history makes it even more obvious.

Because he knew they would have guns. Criminals and cowards go go to places where the people are most likely not able to fight back or defend themselves.
