Sanders would be a pawn of Big Labor. That, contrary to what too many believe, would not be beneficial to the nation.

Paul would be a pawn of no one. Paul denounces big corporations/wall st fat cats and big labor.

Yep, that's how I see it as well. Bernie Sanders is getting a lot of media attention much like Ron Paul did several years ago when he ran for President. Neither is or were have a realistic shot at getting the White House. The media really does love to focus on the more unusual characters running for office.

I don't see Mr. Sanders even getting near the shortlist of the democratic nomination - as he's too old, too lefty for the general mainstream voting crowd.

*Correction*-the media ostracizes candidates like Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders-they are getting attention from the people and crowd support, individual donations-not from the monopolized media that is essentially a filtered mouthpiece for our system.

The corporately owned media does their best to limit the attention given to anyone outside the establishment, but it can become a hard thing to do especially now that Sanders seems to have a larger and more dedicated base than Hilary Clinton.

I don't know how you see any of that-Jill Stein, a third party candidate in 2012 was actually arrested and detained for hours as Police prevented her from entering a debate site.

Anyone not screened and approved by our corrupt system is attacked and/or ignored.

Candidates like Paul and Sanders still do get media attention, even if it is with a derisive tone. Sanders realistically has no chance of getting the democratic nomination is my opinion. And because of this, the mass media indirectly selects the candidate from the either 2 major parties with how much coverage the candidates get over the campaign.

Anyone else running from a third party is locked out, just about all levels, especially when it comes to draconian state laws regarding ballot access. The mass media largely ignores most any third party candidates whether the candidate is at the local, state or federal level. That's nothing new unfortunately.

Nothing wrong with shaking up both parties. I don't think anyone wants a shoo-in from either one.

The only radical thing about Sanders is his intention to re-align our nation's wealth to favor the middle class instead of the ultra-wealthy.
While they all pay lip service to that, only Sanders means business. He cannot be bought and he will not be owned. Like Obama, who saw the need for universal health care long before, if Sanders gets the power to do it, he will make it happen, even if he has to crawl through the fires of political hell to do it.

If he's elected, he will also lock all the doors well enough that it will take a long time before the wealthy will be able to pry them open once more. Expect the Kochs and all the other oligarchs, including Buffet, to try to bury him if he seems to present a real threat to them.

National Socialism attempted to reconcile conservative, nationalist ideology with a socially radical doctrine. In so doing, it became a profoundly revolutionary movement—albeit a largely negative one. Rejecting rationalism, liberalism, democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and all movements of international cooperation and peace, it stressed instinct, the subordination of the individual to the state, and the necessity of blind and unswerving obedience to leaders appointed from above. It also emphasized the inequality of men and races and the right of the strong to rule the weak; sought to purge or suppress competing political, religious, and social institutions; advanced an ethic of hardness and ferocity; and partly destroyed class distinctions by drawing into the movement misfits and failures from all social classes. Although socialism was traditionally an internationalist creed, the radical wing of National Socialism knew that a mass base existed for policies that were simultaneously anticapitalist and nationalist. However, after Hitler secured power, this radical strain was eliminated.
Irregardless of the political and/or economic system: the more you have centralization, the more you have concentration, the more you have consolidation, the more potential you have for tyranny.

And here is why I think Denny would make a good VP for Paul, he is willing to stand up to the establishment.

"Kucinich elaborates that the US government’s invasion and occupation of Iraq starting in 2003 fueled the situation today with the Christian population of Iraq reduced by three-quarters. Kucinich explains that this population reduction arose in large part from Christians, along with people in other religious minorities, being “targeted by jihadists who did not have a presence in Iraq prior to the US invasion.”

Here's a vid on CongressMan Grayson.

Alan Grayson: The War is Making You Poor Act

Rep. Grayson introduces a bill to cut separate funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and uses the money to eliminate federal income taxes on every American's first $35,000 of income. Cosponsors of this bill include Ron Paul, Walter Jones, John Conyers, Lynn Woolsey, and Dennis Kucinich.

I know Rand isn't his father but Ron Paul & Dennis Kucinich are very good friends & share many ideological points. They claimed to eat lunch alone together every day in the Congressional cafeteria. They appeared together on TV many times as well. Same with Ron Paul & Ralph Nader. No reason to think Rand & Kucinich couldn't have that same kind of friendship/respect.

A quick google search of ron paul dennis kucinich returns multiple videos of the two working together or speaking kindly of one another.
