Why the **** did everyone wait that long before pulling that child off of the other child? What the ****!
Jailed? Ehh... depends on the circumstance. In a case like this, maybe? I think it would have to be a very serious situation in order for prison to seem like a necessary action. Some other action would be more than sufficient in my book.
Kids should always be encouraged to defend themselves. That said what occurred in that video is absolutely ridiculous becsue the parents need to intervene immediately and discipline the aggressor child. This isn't a teach the child to defend themselves moment, this is teach the bad kid how to behave moment.
In 4th grade, my son was being picked on by two other boys. One morning I saw the culprits walking by and grabbed my son, took him out and told them that he was going to fight them one on one. They both began crying. The harassment ended. No fight was needed, but I would have allowed the fight if needed.
I did the same thing with my 5 year younger brother when he was about 10. A kid stole his baseball glove. I took him around to the kids house and told the parent, who were less than interested, then we found the kid and my brother commenced to kick the crab out of the kid.....but I stepped in when I saw that the kid was defenseless. He got his glove back and never had another problem with that group of kids again.
Oh come on now, we need to learn to appreciate all cultures. Just because they are different than us, doesn't mean American culture is superior. Third world societies are just different, that's all. Just so long as we don't accept it here.
This is disgusting. The ghetto ratchet mentality is strong here. It needs to be called out and shamed every time. People like this wonder why they don't get respect in society. Raise your kids to not be violent little scum suckers please.
