I'm trying out liberal philosophy with no success - it backfired. Guess I am not progressive.
I think it says a lot that you disagree with liberal philosophy but don't understand it enough to actually apply it in a fictional way. An intelligent voter understands the pros and cons of any issue or philosophy.

True, the purpose of a gay pride parade is to deny feeling abnormal or that homosexuality is creepy and disgusting.
This does not apply to heterosexuals since they are already normal such that homosexuals who wish to further deny their abnormality associate themselves with heterosexuals through the heterosexual institution of marriage.

The organizes were likely too busy rubbing up on whatever few guys participated since anyone needing a parade to declare how straight he is is clearly compensating for...something.
