Exactly!

Recently my Verizon cable bill went up because they are now offering enhanced sports programming. I called Verizon and told them I do not watch sports, ever.

Didn't matter. I still have to subsidize someone else's viewing of sports.

Why is it "fine" to make your neighbor pay for a stadium so your team can play in it?

Are you okay with your neighbor using your money to build their church?

Does their church bring in tax revenue? Not even a penny.

I wouldn't know. Never saw it.

It's probably on a basic cable channel anyway.

No, the sports increase was new; not what I signed up for. Commie Corporation.

For Cities? Stadiums are usually a net loss for the tax payers. But by definition even "one penny" brought in by selling donuts before mass means that they do.
