A family member shot dead by accident is just as dead as if murdered by an intruder ...

And someone killed in a car crash is just as dead as if shot by someone improperly handling a firearm.

Because a car's normal use is not as a weapon, although it can be used as a weapon, if drunk driving, drowsy driving, or reckless driving, etc. is in the equation. But strangely enough, someone being killed by a car crash would be convicted of manslaughter rather than murder.

So if the above quote was true, do you think that the drunk driving crash of May 14, 1988 should be classified as a massacre?

Do we really want that for our families and neighbors and friends … ???
The people who use guns or other more extreme measures want finality.
They will find finality without guns.

The pill people are usually more a cry for help.

This is a tragic crash where 27 people died. Yet, some people called it murder just like the person had a gun.

The guy was drinking. He knew that drinking and driving was wrong and can cause this kind of thing. Doesn't matter the weapon, if you kill someone like that it should be murder.

Your point is thou?

Exactly so … and we don't allow just anybody to drive a car, as if it is a God-given right …

We don't think that the way to have fewer car crashes is to have more and more and more people driving cars everywhere with no licensing, no restrictions ...

No … Again, mental health counselor here …

A suicide attempt is a suicide attempt -- not just a "cry for help" …

Generally, males tend to choose more violent acts -- shooting, jumping, hanging -- while females tend toward pills ...

Wow what an intelligent statement!

My owning weapons has nothing to do with nukes
