I keep hearing the liberals whine that its somehow conservatives fault for low wages and I'd like to get some details.

Its liberals who support illegals coming to america taking up millions of jobs
Its liberals pushing jobs overseas with tax policies
Environmental laws
Mandates for pay
Mandates for benefits etc

Please list for me some conservative policies, responsible for low wages.

The policies are non political. They are the policies of the elite corporatists.

Wages are not fully guided by market influences only. While it maynot be full born collusion the largest retailers can move the wage scale at their will. As we saw Walmart do for the positive in the last quarter.

Labor will ALWAYS be market driven unless the government intervenes which then creates its one problems. When you force labor costs up, you will inevitably force up the cost of goods which then lowers the real value of wages.

Theres a large variety of things. The refusal to raise the minimum wage, anti-union laws seem popular, and my personal favorite "right to work" laws.

And thats all off the top of my head.

Bought and paid for politicians of either party who supports eroding the minimum wage, weakening the unions and supports the disastrous anti-worker "free trade" deals like NAFTA, CAFTA and TPP.

The statement was, "... that its somehow conservatives fault..."

You state, "They are the policies of the elite corporatists."

Are you like many on this board that claim that ONLY repubs/conservatives are business owners/runners?

Many on the left deny that there are just a smany dems in control of business as repubs.

*No minimum wage increase for many many years. Minimum wage actually peaked in 1968 in inflation adjusted dollars

*Free trade agreements that encourage outsourcing American jobs overseas/rejecting protectionist legislation for small and medium size businesses.

*Busting of unions supporting higher wages through Right-to-work statutes

*saying you support lower taxes but never cutting spending to make tax cuts financially sustainable

*no supporting legislation for statutory punishments on business who employ illegal labor (ie construction, landscaping, others).

*General emphasis on corporate earning (and tax benefits) over individual well being (i.e expanding the middle class); tax cuts for the rich with no middle class benefit

Of course Democrats are also to blame. However, Republicans support all of the above wage and disposable income-killing initiatives.

True----------- because billionaire corporations need to maintain profits at all cost. The extra cost of labor is passed down to the consumers.

And many folks like you are conditioned to blow the horn for corporate America.

What about small businesses? Or are they all evil billionaire corporations in your eyes?
