What course of action did he actually offer as a solution other than saying it'd be over and over with quickly? How are his plans any different than Rumsfeld's magical Iraq War that would take 5-6 months at most and be paid for by oil revenues? What does he actually offer other than more pie in the sky? I'm a USA Veteran to your first question, my son is a medical doctor so he's a plus with or without war. My daughter is viewed under the old model, we don't send women to war. But they have the right.
The very notion that Iran can threaten us with war is their delusion, one our administration believe is frightened of. When Iran get "the" bomb, their belief "system" tells them its time to die for Allah, so they don't care, may even want to see Iran totally destroyed.
All our butts are "on the line" right now and the line isn't one of BO's red lines, this one kills every day.
