Meh. Non-Christians live their lives with the constant barrage of self-righteous, arrogant moralizing of Christians (they are the majority, you know). It only seems fair that Christians should have to deal with a little ridicule and mockery.

Pull up your big boy pants and deal with it.

As Jon Stewart once said: You are confusing a war on your religion with not always getting what you want.

And to be honest, they revel in it.

Christians persecuted in the US. What a joke. Of course not. They are free to practice their fairy tales all they want. They scream 'persecution!' the second they cannot impose that fairly tale upon others.

Yep. They are being persecuted because they are no longer being allowed to persecute others in the name of their religion. Poor things.

I think part of it is that. They just use religion to try and get a way with bigotry.

Actually Christians are the only group the left is perfectly comfortable with attacking.

Demeaning them, stereotyping them, broad brushing them, leftists are completely ok with that on a level they'd never accept to any of their favored groups.

The scream at the Christian boogeyman, while excusing extremist atrocities by Islamic terrorists. Why? They fear actually being attacked by Islamic extremists. They know for the most part, most Christians just quietly live out their faith, so attacking them is easy.

They aren't so brave when attacking more aggressive faiths like radical Islam.

Then again, leftists love kicking down strawmen, or strawwomyn.

I feel for you. Who knows, one day you may aspire to have a Christian chaplain in the legislature - or even, dare I say it, a Christian President? And it would only be fair that your holidays got equal treatment in terms of time off.

Yes, Christians are persecuted in the U.S. We force them to have a majority in Congress and the state legislatures. We force them to take Christmas and Easter as national holidays too. In many states, Christians (and everyone else) can't purchase alcohol before noon on Sunday. Life is really rough for Christians in America.

...
Bill Maher attacks Muslims all the time. Jon Stewart makes fun of Jews. We're pretty much equal opportunity fun pokers.
