The American people elected Obama to fix Bush's mess. Why isn't it fixed yet?
Because the world has grown much more powerful compared to the US. China's gdp, by most measures, went from 950 billion usd in 2000 to ~7 trillion usd in 2014. America can't fix things unilaterally anymore.

Why hasn't Obama strengthened our country to those heights after the Recession? He also promised that. Is he incompetent, or simply a liar?
Sorry, but Obama said ISIS was contained and not getting stronger. He has a pathetic track record of saying stupid things about ISIS and down playing them. He also wants to bring 185,000 Syrian refugees into the US despite ISIS trying to infiltrate the numbers.
Hey, remember when the Bush White House attacked Iraq for nothing, killed 100,000+ innocent Iraqi people, killed 1,000's of US soldiers for nothing, permanently injured 10,000+ US soldiers, brought ISIS to power, and wasted thus far $1 trillion dollars doing it?
Or remember when Halliburton CEO Dick Cheney gave Halliburton billions of dollars in no-bid US government contracts in Iraq. And remember how even Rand Paul said Cheney lied about Iraq for Halliburton corporation?
But the fact is republicans fully ignore all the above outrageous acts, and then they place all the blame on Obama.
And I would love to have real conversations about all of our politicians, but when your dealing with a group of people who ignore, hide, and cover up actions of their own politicians like those of Bush and Cheney above (you just can't have a honest conversation with those people.)
Hell no, the man is a pathological liar, or has severe memory loss! Contained my azz, just ask France how contained they are. Or all of the innocent people who have had their heads chopped. No excuses for his lies and protecting Muslims, cannot even bring himself to say Radical Extremists and terrorists. How can we solve a problem, when the truth is not presented to the public with accuracy.
Stop with the excuses, it will get us in trouble in the future.
