Obama is worried about people on the terror watch list buying guns legally but one has to wonder why since his Department of Homeland Security has hired 72 people on the terror watch list.

WGBH News: Congressman Stephen Lynch was on Boston Public Radio three days ago and was asked why he decided to be one of 47 Democrats who voted with the GOP bill to ramp up screening requirements for Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

What he said after that is basically being ignored by the media but it is serious.

Six dozen DHS employees are on the terror watch list, and the TSA has a 95% failure rate is the reason! I don’t need to editorialize on this except to ask how they are going to screen refugees if we can’t screen them for jobs at the Department of Homeland Security?

The phrase "who's watching the watchers" comes to mind.

Well we were told that we needed a TSA to keep us safe.
But we were also told, that we had to fight them over there so we wouldn't have to fight em here.
Moral of the story:Government lies when it claims its going to keep you safe.

Isn't it interesting that Jeh Johnson and Homeland Security are no where to be found in this Latest Terror Attack on the United States. I checked news, have watched all the press conferences and checked the Homeland Security Homepage. They finally posted a little piece yesterday that mentions a shooting in California.

TSA is great at frisking Babies and Grandmothers, they are GREAT at stealing from Baggage. They are GREAT at opening the Borders and letting Illegal Aliens roam free across the USA and admitting Terrorists. GREAT at sucking up Billions of Dollars in US Taxpayer funds AND buying up Millions of rounds of Ammunition.

National Security? Homeland Security? ...... Not so much.

Default Call me a skeptic

I tried to check into this figure, and all that comes up are blogs referring to one another. Not exactly convincing.

Any foreign born person who ends up on the terrorist list needs to be sent back to their homeland. People born in the US who make it on the list with ties to oversees terrorist networks need to be taken off the streets.

This was recently something that Canada was trying to enact, and the Leftists made a big stink over it.

These Muslim terrorists have no allegiance to the Infidel countries they live in, there should be no sympathy for them, deport them.

I believe it. People are people. DHS are working people just like everyone else, just like YOUR co-workers. Think of how many idiots and morons you have worked with, or for, over the years(no offense to anyone who is one of these idiots or morons)and you would constantly have to ask yourself how the hell did this jackass get the job?
Well, same thing. Everyone is underpaid and overworked, and stressed and just want to get through the day, clock out, and go out for dinner and some Jäger bombs. Plus the curiosity is killing them to check and update statuses and news feeds on Facebook and Twitter, so that can be very distracting during working hours, especially if you have a job that does not allow you to even look at your phone at all on the clock.
That's how these things slip through the cracks, even in the most important of jobs.
