The far-right National Front party looks set to take over the running of four councils in France after winning 28 per cent of the vote in regional elections, in a result that shocked governing elites across Europe.
In the first test of public opinion since the November 13 terrorist attacks, the anti-immigration party of Marine Le Pen notched up its best result since it was founded in 1972. With almost all of the votes counted, the FN was placed first in six of the country’s 13 regions. The centre-right and socialists in certain regions have refused to join forces to stop the National Front, which could allow it to win up to four regions in the second round on Sunday.
Europe has to vote far-right because the Left fails to acknowledge the issue with Islam.
It's a shame because Islam should not be a Left or Right issue, but unfortunately Left is in bed with the Islamists.
The Democrat Party really doesn't understand the danger they are in. Unless the Democrat Party changes its tune and recognizes the threat of terrorism and THEIR OWN POLICIES to the American people, they are going to get shellacked, again, but this time in a Presidential election.
In 2016, the Democrats won't have Obama at the top of the ticket to inflate their turnout. Hillary or Bernie just won't excite the left wing base.
The rest of Europe will follow as well will the U.S. Even a lot of liberals and moderates who usually vote left, are fed up with all the crap and political correctness that is now costing people their lives.
Front National is better than the ruling party right now but they are nothing more than controlled opposition. Funny how just a few short years after Marine Le Pen takes over from her father AND kicks him out of the party she is on the verge of winning the presidency....I wish her father had stayed in power of the party and kept his daughter below him. Marine's own niece is more true of a French patriot than her aunt is. I wonder when something like this happens in Germany? Its happened in Poland,Hungary,Austria pretty much all across Europe its happening except for the 2 worst cases. Germany and England.
