"Mohammed Zahid Mahmood said he and his family — two brothers and their nine children — were told nothing except that they were not allowed to travel to the U.S. despite having previously obtained clearance."
"obtained "clearance?" What does that mean? Now, this is Obama's Immigration office not Trump's (not yet anyway) who is stopping them. And how does one afford to buy 11 London-LA tickets? I'd like to know what he does for a living.
What he does for a living is none of your business. The article is misleading since only one side of the story is written. More than likely someone's name in the group is on the no fly list.

I ams sure the Obama ICE doesn't stop Mohammed Zahid Mahmood in a white robe with 9 kids in tow for no reason.

More than likely you are right. The no-fly list can have five names possibly from different countries, that are the same.
CNN just had a segment on it. It is a suspicious Facebook posting with an email and some praise of Al-Qaeda. When Malik got in we all said why didn't they look at social media closer. Well, this is what it look like when they do.
Not unreasonable if you're saving for a vacation and others pitch in.
$670 sounds pretty cheap to me for a cross-atlantic flight, but who knows. flight prices are kind of unpredictable.
