A 9-year-old African-American girl is killed by a stray bullet while she is at home, guilty of nothing more than living in a crime-infested, inner-city neighborhood that used to be called a ghetto.
Mansur Ball-Bey, an 18-year-old black man, is shot in the back by St. Louis police officers during a drug raid.
Crowds fill the streets of Ferguson, Mo., to protest the shooting of the man outside a drug den. No one raises a voice in outrage against the senseless murder of a child. What sense is there in this?

It's looking like the BLM crowd are starting to get real pissed at the double standard here and may be fixin' to start going after the hood rats.
BLM's mission has to do with black lives in the hands of authority or those who believe they have authority, not other civilians actions which for the most part result in both arrest and conviction. This is not hard to understand.
I don't know how many times it has to be pointed out.
He isnt wrong you are.

#BlackLivesMatter was created in 2012 after Trayvon Martin’s murderer, George Zimmerman, was acquitted for his crime, and dead 17-year old Trayvon was post-humously placed on trial for his own murder. Rooted in the experiences of Black people in this country who actively resist our de-humanization, #BlackLivesMatter is a call to action and a response to the virulent anti-Black racism that permeates our society.Black Lives Matter is a unique contribution that goes beyond extrajudicial killings of Black people by police and vigilantes.
Why would you post only part of the statement as if the rest didnt completely contradict your point ?????
OP, to answer your question, you need to understand the following.
Self professed members of the BLM movement generally have the following traits. Often all three.
Poor and Listless
Low Information (hands up don't shoot!)
Poor Work Ethics (why do you think they're able to spend so much time protesting?)
They also lack personal responsibility, which motivates them to find some authority figure that they can blame for all their problems in life. Because looking at their own crime riddled, single mother neighborhoods would be uncomfortable, and solving that problem is challenging. You know, it would involve thinking, and planning, and (again) personal responsibility... it's much easier to blame white people.
If a nine year old girl is killed by a stray bullet and the person that fired that bullet is caught they will be prosecuted and sent to jail.
If an 18 year old is executed on the streets by cops that lie about what happened they get time off with pay and then sent back out on the streets.
That is what BLM is about.
A excellent explanation. I wish the BLM had a more accurate name.
