But the fact that so few have so much of the resources in our world has nothing to do with the issue?
Most of them worked for those assets. If they can do it, so can anyone else, and that's been proven time and time again... over and over.

No the problem is the high birthrate among poor people? Hmm interesting logic ok.
How is a 3 times higher birth rate NOT a problem? What's the plan for supporting all those additional poor people (Medicaid, SNAP, public housing, etc., etc.) that are added to our population every year? Penalize those who've made wise life and financial decisions and have therefore acquired assets even further by raising their taxes even more? Make NO mistake. There WILL be a tipping point.

Well think about it. For every baby born to folks with money there are 3 babies born to poor folks.
Now those babies grow up and more than likely will remain in the same economic state.
Now you have one adult with money and three adults that need welfare.

Nah. I'll stick to it. Hordes of foreign-born "cleaning ladies" taking home $65K a year doesn't jive with me.
It does with me. I used to pay $193 for a 3,500-ish sq ft house. Took 2 women about 3 hours.
There are several Hispanic grocery chains in the Chicago area. I used to love shopping at them because they had the best fresh produce, by far. You should see all the Hispanic families shopping there in the evenings and on weekends, and they ALL pay in cash. No credit cards. No checking accounts, etc. Just cash. Wads of it. SERIOUS underground (and therefore UNTAXED) economy going on in just the Chicago area, alone.

For me it indicates that the American dream is basically dead or am I wrong. Also who do you blame government polices, the irresponsiblity of the American people or both.
No your missing the point. Sure there are a lot of successes I agree. But there are a ton of people who are doing the exact same thing and are not successful.
Then they're NOT doing the exact same thing.
Look, it isn't easy. I know. Been there; done that. My husband and I started out so dirt poor that all we could afford to rent was an apartment in a building that flooded every time we got more than a couple inches of rain in a month (it was next to a creek), and never heated above 59 degrees in the cold Chicago winters. Suffice it to say we worked hard and earned enough to put 2 kids through very highly-ranked state universities (one through grad school, as well), and we've retired early.
It CAN be done. MANY have done it. It takes a LOT of work, sacrifice, delayed gratification, living BELOW one's means, and saving/investing for the future.
Well think about it. For every baby born to folks with money there are 3 babies born to poor folks.
It's not even one baby born to folks with money. It's just one baby born to anyone who DOESN'T receive public assistance, while 3 are born to those dependent on public assistance.

Yep. And that IS a mathematically certain problem. It's unsustainable. Period. I don't understand why people don't realize that.
Try getting a cleaning lady who'll take a check, much less one who'll give you an SS or Tax ID number for a 1099. They want to be paid in cash. Teenage babysitters are paid in cash. The kid who mows your lawn/shovels your driveway is paid in cash. Cab drivers are paid in cash. Hair stylists are tipped in cash. I could go on and on... Little to none of that is reported to the IRS.
Again, I wouldn't be boasting about saving money in a savings account.
You saved an average of $3,333 per month. Even with an extremely conservative portfolio you left so much money on the table.
It's ok to take money folks. They print more.
Didn't say anything about a savings account. But thanks for your concern.
