you have reading comprehension problems, I have repeated the same thing at least 3 times now. haven't caved at all. don't like what is being taught take your kid out of public school and do the job yourself or be a parent that is involved with their education and talk with them about what they are being taught.

it's high school, not grade school, they are on the verge of adulthood where they should be thinking for themselves. are your children so pliable and weak in the values you taught them, that a class or two can make them unable to use their brains? are you so uninvolved as a parent you can't monitor your child's school work and give them a different view. want your child to be a mini me and not think for them self? take them out of public school and home school em!

Ferguson and M. Brown there are lots of conflicting stories about it. why would you care if your child knew about all sides of the story? white guilt, mascot or mockery again what is the problem with another perspective and learning about how different people feel about the issues? Disney has created characters that show different races in roles that were once only shown one way. nothing wrong with learning why that change came about. same with the rest of the list.
There are NO conflicting stories, only lies being told by BLM. I'd care because I don't want my child being told lies to fit an agenda.

New Trier is 84% white and 9% Asian. Many come from the near or actual 1%.

MLK is normally a day off of school. Many families plan long weekend ski trips or hit Disney. I suspect some may be miffed that their kids do not get the day off.
