Guess what? most of us do know they are not the same, but the scientist that are pushing this seem to be basing their agenda by comparing temps last year compared to others. Maybe you need to study the info a little closer!?

"Seem" to be or "are"? Which one is it? If it's the latter then please present your proof. You want people to believe that all climate scientists are fudging data to further some weird conspiracy? Well, you have to have evidence to back up your claims or you come across as just another denier nut case whose fashion choice of the day is tinfoil. Your statement proves you have no real knowledge of climate science and are speaking as a layman only.

No one posts more factual climate data than he does. Maybe you should try actually understanding it for a change.

What I recall being predicted is an increase in the number and intensity of tropical storms.

Looks like an accurate prediction.

The data is the actual recorded average temperature, it's mathematics and people arguing against this have no factual counter arguments. And it beat the record, set only one year ago. The agenda, as you call it, should be about understanding basic science, and nothing else.

It's not a political or economic argument, but rather a scientific one.
