Unreal. Cliven Bundy is making demands. And what the hell is this "we the people" crap? He doesn't speak for me.
If they intend on holding the refuge they better get the final four some reinforcements. They've got to be getting ready to pack it in by now. The temperatures have been in the teens and they're going to get snowed on in a few days.
When did Cliven move to Burns? I thought he was in NV.
And how is the sheriff supposed to oust the nasty feds when the militia is calling for him to resign?
Thanks you just proved you don't know squat! Why are those Native American artifacts hidden...
Which has what to do with "URANIUM & MAGNESIUM becoming the big BUZZ word" and the even weirder "Have you looked up how many monuments are being given away for our debt" ?

By the way may people are stating LaVoy had no weapons on him
Doesn't matter. He went out of his way to cultivate an image of himself as a firearm-toting rebel. The FBI is not obliged to take a round to make sure.
Burn an acre of federal land to stop a wild fire & save your home = arson under special terrorism statute? Do you believe the terrorism law was intended to get people like this? Really? Could it be you just want to celebrate this because of their skin color and political lean? If you support the government using terrorism statutes against these guys, don't come here crying when they start charging environmentalists, anti-corporate protesters, anti-war and social activists with it in the future. I was against this domestic terrorism crap when it was being cooked up on this very basis. It's the ultimate slipper slope.
They weren't charged as terrorists. It just so happens the applicable law has that title. The fire they set was downhill from a camp of firefighters. The arson put their lives in extreme danger. You don't set a fire downhill from a group of firefighters who are also facing a fire in the other direction. You also don't set a back burn without following the legal channels. You communicate what is happening so people don't get trapped by fire and burned to death.

NO! A thousand times no!
The Hammonds were not convicted of violating the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996. The Act was an omnibus that amended multiple sections of U.S. Code not all of which involved terrorism. They were convicted for violating U.S. Code Title 18 Part I Chapter 40 § 844 which specifies penalties for violating 18 U.S. Code § 842 - Unlawful acts!

Exactly my point. The big bill Congress passed had that title but it doesn't mean everything covered under it is considered terrorism.
