You can't blame your crime problems on other states. It's homegrown.

Bloomberg is going to show that the jim crow racism is still very much alive on the left. Gun control originated in racial discrimination (disarm the Blacks to make them defenseless against the KKK and other forms of discrimination/oppression). Just watch all the leftist gun control activists defend racism if Bloomberg runs.

You indicated that his statement that illegal guns come from other states is false. A rather large majority of guns used in crimes come from outside both NYC and Chicago. The gun used to kill 2 NYC police Officers last year came from a pawn shop in Georgia. That is not what you called homegrown.

"Ninety percent of illegal guns used in crimes in New York City come from other states, according to statistics released Wednesday by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.
The report, based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, found that the number of out-of-state guns used in crimes rose from 1,994 in 2010 to 2,186 in 2011, a 9.6 percent increase."

There is already a ban on owning guns for all individuals who commit crimes, whether they're white, black, hispanic or whatever ethnicity they belong in, so what makes Bloomberg think that banning one particular group within a minority from owning guns will keep them out of the hands of those who commit crimes?

What an idiot.

Those statistics are according to Bloomberg, which I doubt there's any accuracy in anything he says. Besides, like someone else mentioned earlier, the problem is homegrown, which means it's with those who were brought into the world and raised with no concept of responsibility and respect towards others, especially life, regardless of the location, whether it's NYC, Chicago, or some small town in the midwest.

Stop blaming guns and the good citizens who own them.

There were many on the right that defended Bloombergs racism and attacks on the Constitution where it came to stop and frisk.

Speeding is illegal yet we continue to put up speed limit signs.

For the 3rd time it's not a ban, go read the article.
