Then President Obama will only end up thinking he has no other choice, other than make a Supreme Court replacement later this year when Congress recesses. ha, ha, Won't that make you happy.
Congress can just reduce the number of Justices, let's say .. to eight and Obama can do nothing!
Actually Clinton and Obama are well to the right of the Democrats. That is what The Bern is exploiting. Sometimes the right does not even understand where the middle is.
The current republitards are so far to the right that they have to look left to see the line between conservatism and fascism.

Incredible!
Did you take any history courses in school?
The courts have done fine with less than 9 justices in the past!
In 1789, there were only six.
They (the court) has also done fine with as many as 10.
Congress can set the number to just about as many as it chooses.
Article III of the United States Constitution leaves it to Congress to fix the number of justices. The Judiciary Act of 1789 called for the appointment of six justices, and as the nation's boundaries grew, Congress added justices to correspond with the growing number of judicial circuits: seven in 1807, nine in 1837, and ten in 1863.
Obama should nominate a judge and he/she should be accepted. I may not like Obama's politics much of the time or even like the Democratic Party anymore, but the GOP (which I also dislike) is insane with its socially conservative politics. I do not want conservative judges to be nominated that would strike down gay marriage or abortion or other such things. We function best when we're fiscally moderate, socially liberal, and conservative in terms of foreign policy.
Then push for an amendment if you are that against it. Nothing wrong with pushing for an amendment my friend.
I don't feel particularly strongly about it, and such an amendment would go nowhere. I just personally don't think it's the best thing.
