Race relations have tumbled over the years since 2009. Some people blame President Barack Obama, Rev. Al Sharpton, etc. for the racial divide. What is the future of race relations between whites and blacks?

So no other races matter?
This is very racist!

Improving post obama and the current ultra sensitivity and lies sold by profiteering activists. Obama and friends did whatever they could to create a greater divide.
Hopefully the media will resist inflaming situations with intentionally misleading headlines, articles and outright lies. they took their que from Obama like a good propaganda machine is want to do.

Sharpton, Jackson and his ilk can be ignored since they are only in it for the money. Obama cannot and has made race relations worse.
The best solution for helping race relations is to get the government out of fanning the flames. We should remove all government race reporting and race questions on government forms.

All fields (work, education, sports, etc. etc.) should be merit based, not race based.
I believe race relations have more to do with the declining economic status of White, Black and Hispanic working people. They have all been under extreme stress created by our insane economy. When people are under monetary stress they tend to blame their neighbors competing for the same unavailable jobs instead of the money men that made the jobs scarce.
I look forward to a situation where the underemployed revise the system to really increase jobs enough so workers are scarce and wages reflect that scarcity. Then racial differences will be greatly reduced.
I don't think race relations have "tumbled" since 2009. I am a black person BTW.
I think once Obama isn't the president anymore, those who THINK current race relations are "bad" will magically feel that race relations are "good again" even though they have been the same since the 1970s IMO.
Black people will still do protest and speak up about things like we have always done as a demographic. Without a black guy in the White House to ask questions about it though no one will ask the president about it and less people will care or pay attention to them because it won't be able to be used as a some sort of "reason" they don't like the president.
Donald Trump igniting a more open hostility towards Hispanics notwithstanding... no, no other races matter when the topic is race relations. No other race is presumed to be violent, and thus the men in particular are routinely shot on scant interaction to forestall escalation in which one might be injured or killed. No other race is routinely denied employment, housing, health care or loans. Race relations are not fraught between other racial groups. They may be tepid, or exploitative even, but they do not rise to the levels of hostility and outright hatred as that between blacks and other races and blacks and whites in particular.
