IMO, it's out and out jealousy from the right. A hard as they tried and even after eleven investigations and countless hearings, they came up empty on BENGHAZI. They gave us Bush who took a surplus and created a catastrophic economic crash, two unpaid for wars and unpaid for Medicare Part D with massive tax cuts for the rich. The GOP steals and funnels money to the top, knows and cares nothing about actual governing. They bring us this new monstrosity, a known grifter and thief called Trump and he and his crime family are now circling the drain. Yes, they are jealous of being shown how incompetent they are and how they have zero to bring to the table while the left actually brings policies that help the average American.

yep. that's an approval drop of 8% since the shut-down began in a poll that historically runs conservative.

It can not be emphasized enough.

The more the general public learns about Trump, the less likely they will support him. Trump must be very aware of his falling poll numbers, he cares deeply about it.

Trump was bragging about his Rasmussen numbers not so long ago (the Rasmussen numbers skew in Trump's favor more than any other poll I am aware of). It has taken another dip. Trump's current tactics of faux crises and intractability are not winning the people over, it has the negative of the intended result.

To be incompetent and corrupt is one thing, but to be an actual Putin puppet is unforgivable and a huge national security threat.

Trump is not an "illegitimate" POTUS. No matter how much the liberals day dream about it.

And if he is a "Putin puppet," he would not have added more sanctions to Russia.

Turns out being the bad cop leads to lower likeability than being the good cop, who would have thunk it

Trump did not add sanctions to Russia. No matter how many times Trump and his minions repeat this lie, it is still a lie.

Congress passed the sanctions. Trump delayed enforcing them.

Last I read, Trump was trying to get sanctions removed from a Russian oligarch. Congress is looking into that.

Sanctions will not matter- he (and the Brexiters in Britain) have left a path open for Putin to operate in the world. Prior to them he was being boxed in. He is not looking for direct support, simply weakened opponents he can exploit.

Well, since he did no such thing, do you now agree that he could be Putin's puppet?

It is well known to all (even you, if you claim to be informed) that Trump opposed Russian sanctions, tried to get the previously existing ones lifted, and delayed implementing the new ones which originated in congress over Trump's objections.

I hesitate to call you a liar, so I won't, but I then do wonder how well informed you are.

As of today, the Real Clear Politics net Trump approval is -14.5%.

Here are the Trump approval polls released thus far this week:

TheHill/Harris = -12%
CNN =-20%
IDP/TIPP = -12%
Rasmussen = -12%
Gallup = -22%
Quinnipiac = -14%

He’s going down as fast as some of his call girls.
