ABC poll out today has Trump -20 in approval. I think this is the lowest polling I have seen for him. Reuters yesterday had him down -16, so it's not an outlier. It appears that all he still has left is his hard core base of maybe 35-40%. He won't win re-election with just that.

his RCP approval average today is 42.5% -11.7 spread. lower than his comfort zone ( 42.7-44.7% ) but far from his lowest ( 37.1% -21 spread )

it looks like any bounce he got from al-baghdadi has come and gone, peaking at a -10.3 spread.

agreed but..... there's going to be laser-precision campaigning to get the independents in districts that can effect a purple state.

Nothing about Trump, his administration or his campaign has EVER been ANYWHERE NEAR "laser-precision".
Trump is "Mr Wing It".

Averaging in Rasmussen everyday skews the RCP average more to Trump. Maybe Rasmussen is right but it is relatively consistent contrarian outcome.

I'm w Anthony Scaramuchi on this! 100%

As I've posted before it's all about Moscow Mitch who wants to remain Leader in Senate. At 77 years old he doesn't wanna play on a losing team.

If -and I personally predict that they will - if Repub senators start bailing on Trump during Trial proceedings Mitch'll turn on Trump in a heart-beat. If Repub swing state Senators see that Trump's polls fall in their states they'll demand that Mitch flip on Trump.

This whole Impeachment Trial theng comes down to Moscow Mitch and Repub voters in swing states - facts, laws broken, quid Pro Quo-ing are interesting but almost irrelevant. aka "Perception is Reality"
