The only approval rating that matters is Florida, because since 1960 only JFK and Clinton92 won the General Election without winning Florida.
Win Florida and you almost certainly win it all.
The national approval rating doesn't matter, unless we care more about the popular vote than the electoral college.

i'd expect the usual suspects to be jumping on the forum praising trump's ( cherry-picked ) 52% approval.

Its still inching up... look what happens when people start realizing the other option is a crazy angry old man with a base of 25-32 year old's with their hands out....

Trumps approval will keep inching up.

possibly, but a more likely outcome ( IMO ) will be that he'll slip back down into his 42.7-44.7 comfort zone.

we shall see.

pretty crazy, Trump has his highest approval rating today since becoming President.

People who keep pushing Sanders are dumb and obviously want another 4 years for the Donald

i don't think the rasmussen spike had anything to do with sanders. rasmuseen has been zig zagging between 46-52% for a couple years without any rhyme or reason to the fluctuations. it could easily be back to 46% next week.

but, if it maintains 52% and increases then i'd agree it's most likely due to sanders.

Trump ratings have nothing to do with Sanders

The only thing Sanders has to do with Trump is to give him another 4 years if he's the DNC nominee

Nope, he won't be slipping down, because there is a general election this year, which means people will cling to Trump and fear Sanders.
Obama's Gallup approval rating dropped to 40% several times, but people woke up when Romney was the only alternative.

There are a lot of “Anybody but Trump” voters out there. I don’t like Sanders, but will vote for him over Trump.

Scares me that Trump has cut funding for the CDC and also cut the World Health Organization. Hope we don’t have a lot of Corona Virus in the US. We are not prepared for it.
