It's the new American way. Flood in people who largely have values completely incompatible with western civilization.

This is what I want to know!!
Not only that but they are speeding up the time it takes to get these people in here so they can meet their "goal" of 10,000 or whatever it is by September!

Meanwhile the FBI has said it cannot properly vet these people as it is

I think Obama just wants to get as many in as he can before his term is up and damn the consequences!

Utter insanity!!!

Because there hasn't been enough terrorist action in the US so Obama needs to make it right; all done in the name of fairness.

I agree completely with the above responses. It makes absolutely no sense. They are simply coming at the destruction of our country from another angle, by using our welcoming society against us. WE are a nation of immigrants, but up until recently we at the very least required them to assimilate, learn English, support and defend the constitution.

Now, a great portion of these immigrants come intending to change our country to be more like the paleocratic waste bins they left.

Our politicians are fools as they open the gates of Troy for a stinking horse.

Best guess: Typical liberal self-loathing and American-loathing and a dash of guilt for ostensibly causing all the problems in the Muslim world in the first place.

Liberals in all western countries are really weird about this. When things like ISIS and Al Qeda and Hamas show up, liberals tend to ask themselves, "OMG, what did we do to cause this?" The Muslim world created it's own problems. The reason that Muslims riot and massacre people every time anyone insults Islam is a Muslim problem, not a Western/Christian/Sectarian problem. Muslim extremism is a Muslim problem. We didn't force any Muslim anywhere to start acting like roving packs of rabid dogs. They did that all on their own.

Ultimately that. It's part of the Dems goal of dividing the nation and increasing the non-productive, dependant class.

Democrats have been playing this game even since Abe Lincoln. Back then they brought in the Irish to vote.

Europeans from the European Union aren't lining up to move to the US when they can freely move to other countries in the European Union without the hassle of even having to apply for a green card. Why would they want to come to the US, most of Europe is much more enjoyable. The European Union isn't the entirety of Europe either, and Urkaine and Russia would probably up the immigrant total(since people want to leave those two messes).

Looking at the list of the countries, Pakistanis are mostly coming as skilled workers(H1b visas), Iraqis are coming as refugees(remember that invasion that Americans were amped up about back in 2003?) as are Somalis. Bangladeshis immigrate in high numbers to a lot of countries, though theyoften the blend into other South Asian communities. Also there's no way to guarantee that everyone from a Muslim majority country is Muslim(or a devout Muslim if that). There's probably a number of Christian Arabs and Copts in the Iraqi/Egyptian/Lebanese/Syrian diaspora, some of the African countries listed aren't entirely Muslim either. It's a huge swath of the world, Muslim majority nations is about a quarter of the Earth in terms of population, and there's little in common between someone from Indonesia and someone from Morocco.
