And the STATE was taken to FEDERAL court over discrimination charges.

The law in NC denies CITIZENS the ability to sue COMPANIES for violations of STATE law in STATE courts.

What the heck is going on with this country, I mean really, Mississippi with their laws now NC is pulling this stuff.

Are we living in 1950 over here??? Man, I just don't get what is going on.

I love America, but damn, I don't wanna live in a place where it's ok to discriminate against a group of people.

Thank you for the kind words of support. Resorting to insults means you lack a cogent reply.
Again, thank you.

And I think people should read the actual law. Maybe then they will see that it isn't only about bathrooms and who is to use which one.

No. The trans student filed a complaint with the USDoE OCR. It never was a State issue. That info was in the article I linked:

Neither the trans student nor the USDoE OCR would accept the use of a separate facility as a solution. They forced the school district to allow a trans (born male) student with male genitalia to use the girls' restrooms, locker room, and shower facilities.

Multi-million dollar rock stars need a purpose in life- Bruce might do better and maybe supply the money for some new water piping in Flint Michigan.

What's the problem- If you have a penis stand at the urinal and pee? What a human being imagines themselves to be as far as sexual identification is one thing- who they are physically is another.

Stop making an issue of all these first world difficulties. If a so called transgender child was not told by an adult that they were transgender...a young male would use the male bathroom. It's the adults causing a stink here- not the kids.

Back in the 60s two of my best friends were "gay"- except we did not have a name for it- nor did they broadcast their sexual inclinations out loud. They were who they were- these issues were not political during that period in history- nor were they even an issue. People got along- so where is this so called PROGRESS - the progressives talk about- I do not see any.

The STATE is in control of the schools. The student was in effect suing the STATE in FEDERAL court.
