Now would any working class white males care to explain to me again how it was the Democrats that abandoned you?
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's right-to-work law, championed by Republican Gov. Scott Walker as he was mounting his run for president, was struck down Friday as violating the state constitution.
Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, also a Republican, promised to appeal the decision and said he was confident it would not stand. Schimel has not made a decision on whether to seek an immediate suspension of the ruling while the appeal is pending, spokesman Johnny Koremenos said.
"We are confident Wisconsin's freedom-to-work law is constitutional and will ultimately be upheld,"Walker wrote on Twitter.
Three unions filed the lawsuit last year shortly after Walker signed the bill into law. Right-to-work laws prohibit businesses and unions from reaching agreements that require all workers, not just union members, to pay union dues. Twenty-four other states have such laws.
Another Republican "Right to Work for Free" law struck down. Good.
IMHO - anyone working for another or a business should be in a UNION! That is the only way for an individual to maintain a balance of POWER with their employer. Lack of complete POWER is why employers hate and fear UNIONS.
So the state constitution says a club you chose not to be a member of, and which does nothing for you, has the "right" to extort money from you? Money it uses in ways that are detrimental to you? I'd be curious to see just what kind of thugs justify the extortion of protection money.
When power and money hungry union mob bosses can't sell their product to people based on the "benefits" they offer...hey, just force them to pay anyway. Sounds like Obamacare. When you can't offer a product that people want-just pass a law that forces them to buy it anyway.
That club you disparage is called a Union and IT got the good wages, decent health insurance, 8 hour day, and actual pension you expect when you work for some body else. If you do not want to take part just stay away. Those conditions did not come for free so if you want to work there pay your damn share. If you don't, go work in a open sweatshop along with the illegals.
Unions have been around long enough that people do not realize just how hard it was to go from deadly DANGEROUS sweatshop to decent wages and conditions. The Republican business elites WANT TO RETURN THE SWEATSHOP with replaceable starving workers for the owner's profit. Let them keep wanting.

You don't see the correlation of decreasing union representation and decreasing middle class?
Ah yes conscripted money to keep a job. that would otherwise be called thuggery and pay for protection.
You see here is the problem.
You want to the union negotiated pay, benefits and representation but you don't like the idea of having to pay for it.
So who are the free loading parasites in this scenario?
Now if you are willing to take less pay, fewer or no benefits, and no one to stand up for you for any disciplinary actions by your employer, I would fully support your right to not pay union dues. Oh, but I can just imagine your beatching if that were the situation.
