You mean you are an American and not a Egyptian or a Israeli. Since the US penned this contract, If Egypt and Israel lose something related to it, then the US must also lose something it gained from the contract like paying full rate fees to Egypt to use the Suez Canal, paying Israel rent and for security for the arms storage depot it has in Israel, paying Israel rent and for security for the listening station and paying Israel maintance fees related to both locations. The US would also have to pay all those termination fees for contract terminations to multiple US companies since that money paid for those armaments came from the US and probably have to purchase all the stuff built for Israel since Israel will not be making the payment for them. I can't wait for the the US Military sale of surplus military equipment at highly discounted prices. I could really use another BNIB diesel powered generator on a trailer that can power the house (and a few neighbors) for an extended time period (much better than a generac).
BTW, you forgot the Billion Jordan gets.
I'm willing to pay it all to be completely out of the deal. We don't need the depot. Especially if we were minding our own business and staying out of Middle Eastern affairs. If other nations can afford full rate fees to use Suez, then so can we. Charge more for the goods that pass through. Americans are more than willing to pay more for the goods.
And yeah...screw Jordan too.

Yeah...overthrowing a government in Iran worked out really well last time, didn't it.
Besides, the US doesn't have the power to overthrow an Iranian government.
I think that in this case the cow wants to give milk more than the calf wants to drink.
America, stop telling Israel about not building settlements, don't interfere if Israel will decide to drive the Palestinians to Jordan, don't tie our hands when we will want to hit our enemies really hard.
Don't subsidize your weapon industry through Israel. Israel can buy it from you or from Russia.
Just stay away. I think it's the time to rearrange our relationship.
Without our three billion dollars in aid, Israel's military budget would still be more than three times that of Lebanon and Syria combined and more than Iran's.

Yep. So why the debit card?

Should the United States also remain silent when the Palestinians launch rocket and terror attacks against Israel?

I think Israel has every single right to defend herself.
Israel has become an affluent and developed country that can afford to pay for its own defense… replacing all American aid would cost Israelis about 1 percent of their income per year, hardly an outrageous sum… Also, as a general principle, people and institutions make better choices when they have to internalize costs. If the U.S. ends aid to Israel, Israelis may make better choices about their national defense and foreign policy.
by the way, America is defending Germany, Japan, south Korea, etc, and they don't pay enough, why do you (the general term you, not YOU personally) want to be suckers? I certainly don't want to be one.

O, It's not for goods. It for Fleet movement and Subs.

This is where the ability to read Arabic comes in: Jordan doesn't want the Palestinians either. They've already stated that Jordan wants a 9km buffer zone West of the Jordan River. They want no common border with the West Bank. It's been on the table for years that the Bedouins might get to live in that buffer zone. Jordan wants stewardship over the Temple Mount and that's all.
If Israel stopped building settlements this second, the Palestinians would just choose another item for Israel not to do. The US and the EU have to get it through their thick skulls that their rules do not work in the Middle East. Israel follows the rules of the Middle East.
The US, EU and UN need to go bug someone else.
