I do note the users regularly want to tout their accomplishments... As if to try and convince non drug users of their normality. It is a moot point because we really don't know how they would be otherwise... Too many variables. Some people need a drug to function... So in that sense the drug is allowing them to increase their productivity...

Drug use by its very nature is dysfunctional. It does not mean it is not necessary. Mj use for cancer is a wholly appropriate use if only palliative... Or actually helps with the disease itself.
