A recent Facebook page pledges the support of Democrats who are against gun control.

Why do they only have less than a hundred followers?

This is a good idea to try taking politics out but they need more support. Anyone have some ideas for this group to get more fans?

Because the page posts infrequently and does not have engaging content. Facebook pages aren't a "build it and they will come" sort of thing.

Yeah, what the poster before me said.

I agree with it's overall message, but it presents it in such a lackluster way. Of course it's going to be a small page.

Maybe scheduling a few rallies at the convention will help.

I mean, maybe? They can certainly give it a go. But right now the issue is just too political for intelligent discourse to really be had.

Senator Byrd from WV was a democratic and against gun control.
