Upheld by SCOTUS in a 6-2 decision. It's about time we made some inroads into sensible gun control legislation.

I am pro 2A and don't oppose this at all! criminals and those with a violent history have no business owning a gun.

the real problem is that many women who are victims of domestic violence don't even report it because they "love the guy" or think they can change him.

Violent crimes more often than not fail the 4473 verification...

As far as domestic goes, when an epo is filed, you are asked to surrender your firearms for an indefinite period, only returned via petition by the court

A lot of cops will have to be reassigned to jobs where they don't carry guns.

good! thugs with badges shouldn't ever be able to access a firearm.

any cop who abuses his role should be fired anyway.

Agreed. If anything, victims of domestic abuse should pro-actively seek out a gun range and ask for assistance in getting trained in gun safety and shooting, so that they can prevent further victimization and rid the planet of abusers!!

You have long been susceptible to losing your rights for assault. It's called due process.
