Negative. The presiding civilian authority makes these decisions, not the military. That is the president and his administration. THEY dropped the ball. And you know it.

This is the most investigated embassy attack in the history of our country (and it wasn't even really an embassy, it was a CIA operation gone bad), so to claim it was minimized or excused is ludicrous. How much scrutiny will be enough for you?
Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi......More investigated than 9/11 and the Beirut bombing when Reagan got 251 Marines killed. Conservatives scream about 4 Americans killed and silence on Sandy Hook, Orlando, and other massacres of many more Americans because guns don't kill people.
