Attacks a handcuffed prisoner, and then, when a female cop stops him, he turns on her, puts his hands around her neck, and threatens her. Other cops do nothing.
To the department's credit, they are backing her, however, he is on paid leave and still "under investigation". Bounce his butt out of there! He is not "Serving and protecting". He's a goon, and I bet this is not the first time. Plus should be tested for steroids.
Angry guy. A dirty little secret: a lot of police are on roids. Not saying this cop is, but I would not be surprised if he is.
A fair number of them also are heavy drinkers, or even alcoholics. Some people also can't control their anger and shouldn't be in that profession. Of course, there are plenty of good cops. I would say the vast majority are decent people. But unfortunately, the bad cops taint the profession and causes some people not to trust the police.
Find me one profession where everyone is perfect though. Perfection is not possible so long as humans are part of the equation, because no human is perfect.

What you say is true. However, most professions do not give people the tremendous amount of power over others like law enforcement.
Elijah McClain was just walking home when some cops assumed he was up to no good and decided to escalate the situation from nothing to death of a young man who WAS JUST WALKING HOME. So far, no one involved has been held responsible after almost 3 years.
Can this same behavior be seen in any other profession without any consequence?

Most cops are fine. The militarization of many police forces is troubling. it lends to a mindset that's not conducive to relating to the public. Troubling times these days.
Why would “a lot” of cops are on roid? Are they semi-pro body builders or play competitive sport on their spare time?
There's a culture of steroid use in police departments that have developed over the years. A lot of police feel the need to be strong on the streets, need to be in control....use them to release stress from the job. Many issues.
Also, is this a location where there is a strong union?
