I hope the taxpayers of Baltimore are paying their taxes....

".............An attorney for two of the officers said Wednesday that there were ulterior motives in charging the officers.
"Marilyn Mosby's comments in her press conference today confirm that the charges brought against my clients, Sgt. Alicia White and Officer William Porter, as well as the other four officers, were politically motivated and not supported by evidence to establish probable cause," Michael E. Glass said......"

Ms. Mosby's lack of prosecutorial integrity has cost the citizens of Baltimore a lot of money. If I lived in Charm City I'd be yelling for her head.

You live close enough to Baltimore to know why that won't happen.

Hold her to account for her political witch hunt miscarriage of justice.

This will be a difficult suit at best...to get at mosby personally they would have to pierce her indemnity...and that's hard. She has the same if not more protections from liability as police. Her bar is pretty low... She just had to believe a crime was committed. Her personal comments are unprofessional..show bias..but she is an elected not appointed official...
The state bar of attorneys will do nothing

The officers should try however because the city will probably settle at some point... That is after the officers medically retire on lucrative...but ultimately personally punitive.. retirements

The department and it's hand picked new chief...still has a hot potato so expect internal investigation to recommend firings... Then civil service hearings...it will be a mess.

No kidding. I wouldn't be surprised of she gets elected Mayor, and continues her pandering from a position of even more power.

She went over the top with her charges. Some of those officers were negligent to say the least. But she was overzealous in her indictment.

It would be a difficult suit to win, but as you said, the City will settle. She clearly has political ambitions (she got on stage with Prince!) and would not be happy to have her conduct questioned in the public media. Even less, to lose a civil suit after the officers had their cases dismissed.

Why do all you guys think Mosby will be disbarred. One, you can't be disbarred for carrying out the duties of your office and two, this is Maryland we're talking about.
