Agreed.

Researchers said they determined that 3,959 black people were killed in “racial terror lynchings” in a dozen Southern states between 1877 and 1950. The new number includes 700 people who were not named in previous works seeking to comprehensively document the toll, the authors wrote. Some of those previous studies were conducted at a time when lynching was still an ongoing phenomenon.

It is tempting to say in response to this latest data, drearily repetitive of everything that went before it, that “white lives matter.” Of course that would be racist. But it is precisely in response to the disproportionate criminality among the black population that the police are deployed in much higher numbers in black neighborhoods, where they are trying to save innocent lives. There are thousands of law-abiding inner-city blacks who live by bourgeois values and who need protection from criminals. Only the police are willing to provide that protection. Their mantra could be “black lives matter.” The 200 or so reported killings of blacks by police officers — nearly all justified — pale in comparison to the 6,000 or so killings of blacks by other blacks.

More Blacks are "lynched" by other Blacks each year these days than all who were lynched by at least white people in the last 100 years.

That part I do not understand, unless it is climate related, or wanting to be near larger urban areas that offer more opportunity, but also have ultra safe ring suburbs.

Wisconsin may have low unemployment, but may still lack high level opportunity.

Milwaukee has safe suburbs too. I notice those suburbs have very small Black populations, except for Brown Deer and Glendale.

This is what gets me. Over the last 40 years, there has been a growth in Wisconsin's Black population. However, alot of it isn't from the best and brightest. There were many people moving to Wisconsin who wanted work. However, with the hardworking, there were those who came to live on the dole. Gangs went to Milwaukee because the drug market was untapped.

Alot of Blacks who had college education weren't just leaving Milwaukee proper. While some went to the
suburbs, there were alot that just left Wisconsin altogether. Atlanta is one major destination. Atlanta has safe suburbs. We also have some very violent suburbs, like East Point and College Park. BTW, College Park is where alot of "Dirty South" rappers come from.

With the Black population in Wisconsin as a whole, there seems to be more Blacks from the underclass drawn there than Blacks from the middle and upper classes. Odd considering that Wisconsin has a better education system compared to states like Georgia.

So what? I want to know if the cop had a right to shoot him. So far it seems the cops did, but the truth now-a-days takes at least 72 hrs to hit print ............. then years later to be corrected/PCed.

I don't care if he was the worse of the worse or if he was squeaky clean, if he threatened cops they can shoot him.

Nothing to riot/loot about though.

More daily outrage. A thug gets shot like everyone who knows him knew would happen...just a matter of time. And the idiots decide to burn buildings down.

More thuggery. Criminal with lengthy arrest record breaking more laws with a stolen gun. That's enough for me.

Arrest record isn't a criminal record. "Dirt nap" is just showing your racism. Glad to know it's the west coast for you.

My commit wasn't directed towards you. But it proves my point. Many people expect others to wait for all the facts before they voice their opinion but they don't do the same. We're all taking part of a board that's for people to voice their opinions on various topics in the news. The majority of these topics don't have all the facts available... That's all...
