I know. It's because they are all democrats. The news media is soppose to be neutral but they aren't anymore.

Has Obama personally come out and said a single word about the flooding? Not a statement from his press secretary, but a personal comment from Obama?

ETA: I just checked and I can't find anything that says he has spoken. So more than a week into the flood and Obama can't stop his golf game for 5 minutes to offer some condolences? What a jerk. I'm not surprised. He didn't bother to speak when Nashville flooded either.

For the next disaster maybe people should call the WH and tell then a black man was shot by the police. Obama would race to the podium, and once there, the media could explain that actually multiple people are dead and tens of thousands have lost their homes. Think he would actually comment then? Or just slink away disappointed that there was no chance to play the race card.

Lol...look at all these posts. There is nothing quite so busy as a pack of libs making excuses for Obama. Hard work, isn't it folks?

There you go. And this from one of the better reporters at the WaPo.
FLASHBACK: As Obama Golfs, In 2008 He Slammed Bush For Waiting Too Long Visit Flooded New Orleans [VIDEO]

Quote:
Supporters of President Obama have not criticized him for golfing during the crisis, saying a presidential visit would be logistically problematic considering the security requirements in the midst of rescue efforts. No such understanding was extended to President Bush during Katrina, even though he visited the area only a few days later.
Believe NOTHING the mainstream media spews from their lying mouths.

Presidential visits take away large amounts of local manpower, that in this case should be used to actually help flood victims.

Why would he cut his trip short for just a little rain.
Golly Gee -- I wonder why Obama hurried right down to New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy hit??
Could it possibly have had anything at all to do with "less than a week before the Presidential Election"??

Chris Christie and Hurricane Sandy give Obama a timely boost |LA Times

Christie and the president toured the disaster scene together, looking and talking like a mutual admiration society and giving the distinct impression that they believe a national emergency is far more important than a presidential campaign. What’s a guy like Romney supposed to do with that with less than a week to go before election day?

Meanwhile, Obama is getting the chance to appear compassionate, effective and, thanks to Christie, above politics. Looking presidential may only sway a few votes his way, but in a race that is going to the wire, just a few can make all the difference.

In every election, political junkies watch for an October surprise that might alter the dynamics of the election. This year, the surprise may have come in the form of a massively destructive storm.

Obama is always about Obama -- there is NO Political Up-side for him to give a darn about Baton Rouge, LA. No Election, no gain for him personally. Certainly no reason is his self-centered brain for him to leave his Parties, Golf and Exclusive Vacation.

The same was true of the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico - the well exploded on May 20, 2010 (not an election year) - On 15 June Obama made his first speech from the Oval Office, addressing the BP oil spill crisis, saying, "This oil spill is the worst environmental disaster America has ever faced... Make no mistake: we will fight this spill with everything we've got for as long as it takes.

"Worst Environmental Disaster America has ever faced" .... and it took him nearly a month to even make a statement. He did make several trip down there (a not of bad publicity for his responses) - May 2 was his first trip and mostly a photo op. No statements, no speeches. He was refusing all help from the experts at oil clean up. Obama always knows best - he doesn't need any stinking experts.

True leaders don't need entourages to protect them from their shadow. Sometimes being a man involves walking the line, the front line without drone security, closing highways, and expanding a safety zone a mile wide.

We saw Bush at ground zero, Trump in Louisiana, and Black Messiah looking out his White House window
