Was just listening to the news talk about this lawsuit and also the fact that MOST charter schools HELP URBAN AREAS! I thought liberals were for helping minorities? If that's the case why keep fighting better schools and school choice?
why would they be in favor or charter schools? Charters schools do not have to hire teachers who belong to the union or support the union. It is that simple.

Lol at your sources... Charter schools put profit first, students second. Republicans are all about privatizing everything, so to squeeze the most profit out of it. Look at how many private colleges today have handed out useless, expensive diplomas that are worthless. Privatizing prisons and education are great revenue centers

Assuming the schools are for-profit and not non-profit. But even assuming this is true, the teachers unions are for teachers first and students second. I don't necessarily think this is wrong because the teachers pay dues in order to receive employment representation. . My point is, in both cases the students are the secondary consideration.
