You all must not have got the memo that the national anthem was written by Francis Scott Key. Who was a racist and a slave-owner and deemed blacks as inferior.
Does it make more sense why he may not want to say it?
wow thanks for following me so well, flattered. I dont think i registered this year. I am glad you seem to be so smart but can you address the issue. The blacks have had a miserable record under barry
What issue? You failed to make the case that Kap's protest has anything to do with Obama policies.
This thread shouldn't even be in Elections, imo it needs to be moved to POC.
Not only a football player, he was high school all-state in Baseball and Basketball while carrying a 4.0 GPA, was drafted by the MLB's Chicago Cubs and has a bachelor's degree in business management (3.75 gpa at U of Nevada).
Guess he's a bit over qualified to replace you at your Walmart job.
I don't need to make the case, are you blind? Kap is black and he is protesting the state of our nation. I don't care what it is he's not happy with his race. Obama has failed him and his peoples and he has to realize in this great nation, all men (blacks too) don't sit out anthems-they vote!

O! say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
what is so racist and offensive these lyrics are for Kap?
if Snoop Doggy Dog, NWA or DMX wrote these lyrics then it would be acceptable for Kap and you?
are you black or is it just the name (and the intellect)
