NO! in Puerto Rico, a U.S. TERRITORY, they complain and I tell them in Spanish "pues regresa a Africa a comer moscas y no llores mas"
translation: "return to africa to eat flies and stop whinning"........they never do, they just like to complain to see what special goodies and treatment they can get from the government.
If you actually said that to someone, they'd slap the taste out of your mouth.
Here's a thought. If you're that offended by it, vote with your pocketbook and don't watch the 49ers play, live or in person. It's no different than you refusing to go to a concert because some group has used their stardom as a vehicle to express their political viewpoints (since you're paying to hear them sing). Of course, those principles seem to go out the window at the thought that someone would actually have to miss a game. Football is no different than any other entertainment product. In addition, people do it all the time when a business owner expresses an opinion they don't like (many even protest in person).
P.S. My apologies if this comment has already been made. I wasn't about to read 300 posts.
He has every right to protest and the fans have every right to hate him.
He does look quite foolish though. His black dad abandoned him. A white couple raised him. And now he is making millions in a country he hates because millions of black and white NFL fans pay him to play football.
But, he has every right to be a rich fool.
Well since you brought up a rich fool and the issue of patriotism. Well which candidate who was an athlete in school, got a doctors note and avoided serving his country in Vietnam ?
Kaepernick is bitter that his Black father left him before his birth. He is trying to make up for it by taking his frustration out on the rest of America.
If you actually said that to someone, they'd slap the taste out of your mouth.
If they actually said that in PR, the people would knowingly smile at them and start speaking in a calm reassuring tone as not to spook them further. Ella/el padece de un trastorno emocional. This person suffers from an emotional illness.
