Sounds like this kid got taken down pretty quickly--hero on the scene.

A 14 year old boy flips out, kills his father, then goes to an elementary school and starts shooting.
Background check? Nope, no such thing for a theft! (by the way, Washington State recently passed a "Comprehensive Background Check" initiative; it apparently did not even slow the Cascade Mall shooter down!)
Age limit? Nah, it is already illegal for the kid to have a gun.
Gun free zone? Huh-uh, once again that did no good at all!
Murder? Obviously he did not care that it was illegal to kill people.
Luckily, he didn't manage to shoot very many, and only killed his father, from what I heard.
