"If some ONE finds them offensive" NO!
However, if society in general finds it offensive, YES!
To put it another way:
If YOU find it offensive, too bad; don't buy it, don't look at it, just ignore it.
If a majority of the people in your town or area find it offensive, then you can petition to have it banned.
In the case of the gorilla mask, they would not want me on any jury IF it came to trial. I do not find it at all offensive. After all, the evolutionists say we are ALL a branch of the simian family tree, right?

So, if the majority wants to limit the constitutional rights of someone else, that is ok?
In Mississippi, just a few decades back, the majority was pretty successful at this.

Still NO. While the majority gets its way in many things, it doesn't get to have its way in all things. And this is one of them.
I don't find the gorilla mask offensive either. Although I'm quite sure the person who wore it intended to offend, the fact is that being offensive is her/his right, and I for one am pleased that's so.

Exactly how do you think all the things that are now illegal came to be so? Murder, theft, trespassing, rape, speeding, whatever. SOCIETY decided that such things could not be allowed, so SOCIETY decided it would be a punishable offense against SOCIETY to do those things.
You can spin it or twist it anyway you want, but if SOCIETY decides something should not be allowed, it will not be allowed. Take the currently dreaded words, for instance. Not so very long ago, those words were quite commonly used by people in all walks of life. Now, they are not allowed by SOCIETY!
SOCIETY decided that alcohol should not be made or sold, so they banned it. That created more problems than it solved, so SOCIETY reversed themselves!
SOCIETY decided what chemicals should be restricted or banned. Now, SOCIETY is reversing itself on some of those; piecemeal, to be sure, but the reversal is happening. At the same time, SOCIETY is deciding which plants or chemicals to ADD to the list of banned or controlled substances!
ALL laws are decided on by SOCIETY, and SOCIETY decides which laws should be repealed.
Sorry, but "majority rule" is a fact of life. Deal with it!
