Comedy and comedians are interesting. Social tolerance for them and their jokes is largely dependent on their political viewpoints. Louis CK has made no qualms about having left-wing political views, so he gets away with more.
Funny joke on his part. Also, a very racially insensitive joke. Louis got away with it though. Do you think the reaction would have been the same if a right-winger had made that same joke?
You know why he gets away with stuff? Because he doesn't actually believe what he says. He's making fun of people who actually do believe or think that way.

liberals are really closet authoritarians. You either do it their way or you get outcast from the institutions which they control which include corporations and colleges in the name of "political correctness" and whatever else they happen to be peddling at the time.
Ultimately most humans are like this regardless of their political affiliations along with being hypocrites.. the liberal elite who whine about climate change and try to stop us from doing this and that meanwhile they fly around on private jets and own 10,000 square foot homes with 7 bathrooms and whatnot. Hired their armed security while trying to disarm us.. basically the rules don't apply to them.
Anyone that doesn't fly a booked commercial airline and has their own private jet has no right to whine about climate change to the rest of the population... those planes use gas in gallons per hour.
