It's really only a problem for the protesters, since few have any sympathy or feel any good will toward those who disrespect national symbols. Choosing to protest the police by not standing for the National Anthem is just a dumb idea. All they accomplish is to make people stop wanting to pay them to play sports or endorse products.
So then, blocking roads and protests it is.

Well maybe you should listen to why they are doing it rather than making judgments.

Wow, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and I are in total agreement on something:
Quote:
"I think it's really dumb of them," Ginsburg said. "Would I arrest them for doing it? No. I think it's dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I think it's a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn't lock a person up for doing it.
"I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act. But it's dangerous to arrest people for conduct that doesn't jeopardize the health or well-being of other people. It's a symbol they're engaged in."
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Supreme Court Justice, says Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protests are 'really dumb'

Just revolting. I'm glad I'm watching that on an empty stomach. I'd like those people to try such a stunt in Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Pakistan, Iran....you get the idea.

We are a free country, free enough to suffer such displays of ingratitude. Treason is defined in the U.S. Constitution in a way that doesn't include this conduct. So if I were at the game, and if it wouldn't get me in trouble I'd love to drop skunk essence all over them.

People today don't know how good they have it because they don't know or care about the past. Unless of course it can help their cause. It's not that things are perfect, but things will never be perfect. Attacking the foundations of what got us to this point isn't helping anything either. Some want to tear it all down all down and start over, but that means everyone is going to be way worse off and we will have to fight to get back to where we are now. We may not live that long.

They are at a flipping ball game. This isn't church. Oh, and I guess all those people selling/buying refreshments or using the restroom at the time are disgraceful too. You national anthem rollers need to chill.
