Looks like this went the same way as the Colorado theatre shooting lawsuit. In this case, is the losing side also liable for all court costs?:

They should be liable for the legal costs.

Sometimes judges rule in accordance with the law like they're always supposed to do.

Judges rule on the law, funny that when it doesn't go a certain way it's a conspiracy.

Looks like common sense prevailed, as it should.

A gun maker should be no more liable for the actions of a mad man than a car maker should be liable for the actions of a drunk.

You don't like the fact that "Assault Weapons" are legal? Get the law changed. Until then, you can't hold a company liable for selling a perfectly legal product.

Common sense prevailed. I just wish the money-grubbing lawyers would have to pay the expenses and not the families. The lawyers knew they couldn't win.

I wouldn't feel too bad about that. I'd bet a small fortune that the families never have to pay it anyway. The anti-gun groups who sponsor the lawsuits, like the The Brady Center, probably end up paying it for the families under the table, and in the meantime, they can parade the families in front of sympathetic cameras and have them say the big evil gun companies are bankrupting them, creating bad PR for the gun makers.

It's a win-win for the anti-gun forces.

Sometimes they write Law from the Bench but the left has no problem with that.

Thankfully, common sense broke out in this case-hope the plaintiffs get hit with Remington's legal costs.

Remember boys and girls-this is what Hillary is talking about when she talks about ending protection from prosecution of honest businesses involved with legal activities, selling a legal product.
